2016-2017 RUSSELL MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE TEAM

Congratulations to the new 2016–2017 Russell Middle School Dance Teams! 

What a great tryout we had! Every person who came tried their hardest and looked great. Anyone who did not make the team, I strongly encourage to keep dancing this year and come back for tryouts next year. I was impressed with everyone and appreciated their hard work and enthusiasm.

DANCING DEVILS-  This team is responsible for performing at football and some basketball games, parades and pep rallies. We will practice once a week.  You will learn a pom dance, cadence and a hip-hop/jazz routine.

DANCING QUEENS-  This team is responsible for performing at football and basketball games, parades, pep rallies and two regional competitions. We will practice twice a week.  In addition to the routines you will learn with the spirit team, you will also learn a competition pom, hip-hop and jazz routine. *Alternates are to practice with the competitive team through the summer. During this time I will evaluate them to see if they are ready to step onto the competition team.
