Thank you!

Thank you so much for attending tryouts for the Russell Dancing Queens. As I said before, we are only having a competition team this year. Russell dance is now a sport. We are competing UDA which is a very tough venue. As I explained to the girls, you had to have a composite score of 150 to make the team.  For those of you that made the cut, I need you to think long and hard before accepting. Dedication is mandatory. We will have a strict policy on attendance. All practices are full out and perseverance to perfect choreography and skills are a must. If you feel you cannot hold up to these standards, please take that into consideration before accepting your role on the team. I'm very excited to see how we grow as we enter the Universal Dance Association. This is a great feeder program into the RHS Varsity dance team and ultimately college dance teams. Going this route will prepare you for the teams to come. For those of you that did not make the cut, I encourage you to continue your technique classes at your dance schools. I saw great potential in everyone who auditioned and I hope to see you back next year.
Thank you so much,

Ms. Nicole
